Privacy

When you register, and while you use the portal, we hold:

• Your name, email address and telephone number.
• Your date and place of birth, nationality, country and address. These appear on your certificate.
• Your designation and licence category, where you give them.
• Your identity document details, where a course requires identity verification.
• Your student number, which we issue.
• What you bought, when, and what you paid.
• Your course activity: attempts, scores, results and completions.

We are an MCAR-147 approved maintenance training organisation. Our approval requires us to keep records of who was trained, on what, when, by whom and to what standard. We must be able to show these records for many years.

We also use your learning data to save your progress, to check a result if you question it, and to let others confirm your certificate is real.

• You, in your own account.
• ZAA staff who need it for their job. Fewer staff can see your date and place of birth and identity documents, and we record each time they are opened.
• Your employer, if your company paid for your training. They see your name, email and progress on the courses they paid for. They do not see training you bought yourself.
• The Maldives Civil Aviation Authority, where our approval requires it.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

The portal runs on Vercel. Data is stored with Supabase in Singapore. Both follow only our instructions. We send email through an email service provider.

We keep training and exam records and certificates for as long as our approval requires. This can be many years. They are not deleted when you stop using the portal.

Other data, such as an unused cart or an unfinished import, is deleted.

You can see everything in your own account. Ask us to correct anything wrong. After a certificate is issued, you can’t change your name, date or place of birth yourself. Ask the Admin Officer instead.

You sign in with a password you choose. Staff also use a second sign-in step. ZAA staff never set or see your password. The system checks who you are before showing any record.
